FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team rallied to earn a 67-63 victory over MSU Moorhead in exhibition action on Wednesday evening inside the Scheels Center.

Brennan Watkins scored 17 points to lead the Bison, and senior
Jacksen Moni added 14 points.

MSU Moorhead built a 14-point lead in the first half, and the Dragons still led by seven at 59-52 with seven minutes remaining in the game. The Bison rattled off a 10-2 run to take a 62-61 advantage with three minutes left, capped by back-to-back buckets from
Jacari White.

With the game tied at 63-63, the Bison strung together three defensive stops and made four free throws in the final minute to pull out the win.

NDSU shot 54 percent in the second half and limited the Dragons to 36-percent shooting after halftime.

The Bison will open the 2024-25 regular season on Monday, Nov. 4, hosting Jamestown at 7 p.m.
