CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois held the North Dakota State men's basketball team to 26-percent shooting on Monday night, posting a 69-44 victory over the Bison at the Banterra Center.

The Bison shot just 27 percent in the first half, and SIU made 56 percent to open up a 15-point lead. NDSU was 1-for-16 from three-point range before halftime, trailing 34-23 at the break.

Jacari White finished with nine points and four assists for NDSU.
Brennan Watkins scored eight points, and
Luke Kasubke tallied five points and nine rebounds.

SIU led from wire-to-wire. The Salukis shot 52 percent for the game.

NDSU (2-3) will return home to host Minnesota Crookston on Thursday at 7 p.m.
