BROOKINGS, S.D. – For the first time in her career, junior outside hitter Lauren Jansen has been named to the Summit League Volleyball All-Tournament Team.

Jansen totaled a team-high 28 kills and averaged a team-best 3.50 kills per set over two matches. The Plainfield, Ill., native added 25 digs (3.13/set) and five total blocks on the defensive end. Jansen helped lift NDSU to a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Denver in the opening round with 14 digs and 11 kills. She then closed the tournament with her second straight double-double after posting a match-high 17 kills and 11 digs against South Dakota State.

Jansen earned the award after being named to the All-Summit League First Team last week.

NDSU finished the season with a 17-11 (10-6 Summit) overall record and advanced to the semifinal round of the Summit League Championship for the third time in the last four seasons.
