The North Dakota State men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the SDSU Holiday Open in Brookings, S.D., this Friday, Dec. 5, to open the 2026 indoor season for the Bison.
 
Friday's action inside the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex is tentatively scheduled to begin with running events at 2:30 p.m. and field events at 3 p.m.
 
The NDSU women have captured 16 indoor team titles in 18 seasons since joining The Summit League in 2008. The Bison men have added nine indoor team titles in that span.
 
The Bison will make their home debut next week, hosting the Dakota Alumni Classic on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 11-12, in Fargo.
 
This year's Summit League Indoor Championships will be held in Grand Forks on Feb. 27-28.
