NDSU Women’s Basketball Debuts at No. 23 in College Insider Mid-Major Poll

BOSTON – The North Dakota State women's basketball team debuted at No. 23 in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday night.

The Bison enter the poll at No. 23 after winning each of their last five games and improving to 7-2 overall on the season. It's the first time NDSU has been ranked in the poll since 2023 after receiving votes for each of the first five weeks this season.

The Bison join South Dakota State (No. 2) and South Dakota (No. 14) as the only Summit League schools in the poll. Princeton holds the top spot with a 9-1 overall record and 26 first-place votes.

The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Coastal Athletic, Conference USA, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.

NDSU will be back in action at Eastern Illinois on Thursday night. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
