FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team won its second straight overtime game on Saturday afternoon, beating Denver 89-84 inside the Scheels Center. NDSU improved to 19-9 overall and 8-5 in Summit League play.

Senior forward
Jacksen Moni led the Bison with 27 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Jacari White added 23 points, five rebounds and four steals for NDSU.

The Bison drained 17-of-33 from three-point range (51.5 percent) and shot 46 percent overall for the game. Denver shot 49 percent from the floor.

NDSU set a new single-season record for three-pointers, pushing its total to 342 this season. The previous record of 332 was set in 2018-19 when the Bison played 35 games.

The Bison fell behind by 10 early, but put together a 19-0 run that featured five treys to respond. NDSU led 38-32 at halftime.

The Bison held a 64-58 lead with six minutes left in the second half, but the Pioneers battled back to take a three-point lead at 69-66 with just under three minutes remaining. The game went to overtime tied at 76-76.

Masen Miller hit one of his five three-pointers to put NDSU up 82-78 in OT, and
Tajavis Miller scored two buckets to secure the victory.

The Bison play next on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at South Dakota State.
