BOSTON – The North Dakota State women's basketball team moved into the top 10 in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll at No. 7 this week, the organization announced on Tuesday night.
The Bison (15-2, 4-0 Summit) climbed up four spots to No. 7, which the highest ranking in program history. NDSU has been ranked in the poll each of the last six weeks after entering at No. 23 in December. South Dakota State (No. 2) is the only other Summit League school in the poll. Princeton holds the top spot with a 14-1 overall record and all 31 first-place votes.
The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Coastal Athletic, Conference USA, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.
