Rylee Johnson and
Yolanda Nabwe represented the North Dakota State women's track & field team in the pentathlon at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational hosted by Missouri on Friday.

Johnson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) finished seventh in the pentathlon with 3,484 points. She posted the second-best high jump performance in the field, clearing a personal-best 5-06.50 (1.69m). Johnson also tied for the second-fastest 60m hurdles time in 8.76.

Nabwe (Jamestown, N.D.) scored 3,414 points to place eighth. Her strongest events were the 60m hurdles (personal-best 8.77) and the shot put (37-02.50 / 11.34m), posting the fifth-best marks among the pentathlon competitors in both events.

Johnson and Nabwe both recorded the second-best pentathlon scores of their careers.

The rest of the Bison women's track & field team will compete at the UND Open in Grand Forks, N.D., on Saturday.
