KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team led from start to finish, posting a decisive 97-73 road win over Kansas City on Thursday night inside the Swinney Center. The Bison improved to 13-5 overall and 3-0 in The Summit League.

Sophomore forward
Treyson Anderson scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Bison.
Trevian Carson added 17 points for NDSU, and
Damari Wheeler-Thomas had 16.

Six Bison scored in double figures, with
Markhi Strickland (12),
Noah Feddersen (11) and
Tay Smith (10) filling the score sheet.

The Bison led for the entire contest, going up 9-0 early and pushing the margin to 20 points in the first half. NDSU led by as many as 28 points in the second half at 64-36.

Andy Stefonowicz registered a career-best six steals and dished out eight assists to match his career-high in that category.

NDSU shot 53 percent for the game and made 13-of-29 (45 percent) from beyond the arc. The Bison finished with a plus-8 turnover margin and scored 26 points off turnovers.

The Bison will play at Omaha on Saturday, with tip set for 1 p.m. at Baxter Arena.
