FARGO — Join alumni, fans and friends of the Herd in supporting Bison student-athletes on Tuesday, October 27 during NDSU Giving Day 2026, an online fundraising campaign that unites Bison Nation through impactful giving to North Dakota State University.
Giving Day 2026 runs from 8 a.m. on October 27 through 8 a.m. on October 28 at NDSUGivingDay.com. Supporters can contribute to the general Green and Gold Fund, any of the 12 sport-specific Green and Gold Funds, or programs including the Mental Health and Wellness Fund, Cheer and the Bison Dance Team.
"Giving Day is about providing an opportunity for all alumni, fans and donors across the country to help us advance NDSU Athletics in the everchanging world of college athletics," said Deputy Athletics Director Derrick Lang. "We are grateful to our amazing donors who have stepped up and created more Giving Day Challenges than we've ever had before and because of that, we have an opportunity to impact Bison Athletics now and build for the future as well."
The Green and Gold Fund, managed by NDSU Athletics, provides financial resources for our student-athletes and is vital to the Bison Athletic Department's mission of recruiting, retaining and developing the best-of-the-best at NDSU.
This year, there are a record 30 challenge matches in Bison Athletics that will unlock nearly $300,000 across the NDSU Athletics Department for Giving Day.
Gifts to the Green and Gold Fund will earn one (1) point per $50. Priority points recognize continuous loyalty and philanthropic support, and are used to determine priority in the allocation of new or improved seating, assignment of single-game tickets, reserved parking, reserved tailgating, and football playoff and basketball tournament ticket disbursement.
