TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – North Dakota State dropped the series finale at No. 6 Alabama on Saturday at Rhodes Stadium, falling to the Crimson Tide 13-0 to wrap up non-conference play for the season.
 
Alabama jumped out to an early lead, capitalizing on an error and a home run to score three in the first. NDSU would have three more defensive miscues in the second that helped the Crimson Tide score five more runs in the second.
 
In the third inning, Alabama would add another run before a fifth Bison error and another home run helped a four-run inning for the hosts in the fourth inning.
 
Morgan Zimmerman went 2-for-2 on the day to lead the Bison offense. Mya Boos also reached safely in both of her plate appearances, recording a pair of walks. Madison Wihlm recorded two strikeouts in the circle for NDSU.
 
The Bison are scheduled to return to action and jump back into Summit League play with the home-opening series next week against St. Thomas. The series is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday at Tharaldson Park.
