FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team competed at home for the first time in the 2026 outdoor season, hosting the NDSU Spring Classic on Sunday.

NDSU's
Andrew Berg took the triple jump title with a mark of 44-10.25 (13.67m). Berg also cleared 6-08.75 (2.05m) in the high jump to finish second.

Freshman
Joshua Kyei-Baffour won the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.08.

Bison freshman
Zackery Bruder won the 400m dash in 48.26, and freshman
Otto Anderson won the 400m hurdles in 54.21.

Kaden Pastian threw a personal-best 205-2 (62.53m) to win the hammer throw, ranking 10th in NDSU history.

Freshman
Ryder Bickett won the javelin with a throw of 194-6 (59.29m), and
Logan Arason took second at 193-5 (58.96m).

Competing unattached,
Jack Packer threw a personal-best 56-4 (17.17m) in the shot put. Freshman
Paul Hoekman registered a personal-best 56-01.75 (17.11m).

Jeran McNichols was the runner-up in the 100m (10.85) and 200m (21.74).

Taylor Wanner won the 1500m in 3:57.15.
