Biography

2005-06 Season

Indoor Track & Field (Junior): Just shy of the school's all-time top 10 in the pole vault with a winning 15-6 clearance at the Bison Open on Jan. 13... Runner-up result at the Dakota Duals after recording a 14-7 1/4 jump... Outdoor Track & Field: Redshirt.

 

2004-05 Season: Competed for Eastern Washington University... Finished fourth in the pole vault at the Big Sky Conference indoor meet and second at the outdoor championships... Cleared 16-1 for the fourth best mark in school history... Named to the academic all-conference team.

 

2002-04 Season: Competed for the Community College of Spokane (Wash.)... Placed at the 2003 and 2004 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges conference meets in the pole vault... Academic all-conference in 2003 and 2004.

  

High School: 2001 graduate of Capital High School in Helena, Mont. ... Lettered in track & field his sophomore and junior seasons... Placed sixth at divisionals in the pole vault as a junior. 

 

Personal: Son of Mike and Joyce Krings.... Family includes three brothers and four sisters... Majoring in zoology... Worked for the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation as a firefighter and engine crew member.
