BISON CAREER

2009-10 (Junior): Posted an overall record of 8-12...Placed sixth at both the Daktronics Open and the Dragon Open...Lost a 13-6 decision to Northern Iowa’s Alec Hoffman in an exhibition match.

 

2008-09 (Sophomore): Went 1-4 at 141 pounds in two tournaments...Went 1-2 at the Bison Open...Went 0-2 in the elite division at the Kaufman/Brand Open.

 

2007-08 (Freshman): Competing at 141, went 4-8 overall with an 0-1 record in duals...Finished second at the Dragon Open in the white division, with one win coming by fall.

 

2006-07 (Redshirt): Saw action at five tournaments at 141 with an overall record of 6-10 and three pins as an unattached wrestler.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Graduated in 2006 from Fargo South High School...Coached by Lynn Forde...Placed fifth at 135 pounds at the 2006 North Dakota high school state tournament...Received All-America honors after a fifth-place finish at the AAU Folkstyle Nationals...Put together a pair of third-place showings at the North Dakota Freestyle and Greco-Roman state tournaments.
