Veteran at tight end who worked his way into the rotation his freshman year ... Strong, physical blocker with good hands ... Special teams warrior ... Came out of the spring as the starter at tight end ... Has played in all 33 games during career including sevem starting assignments ... 2009 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in all 11 games including four starts ... Caught five passes for 35 yards including a career long 18-yarder in the mud at Western Illinois (10-31-09) ... Part of offensive line that allowed NDSU to rank 8th in rushing offense (219.82 ypg) and 19th in total offense (400.09 ypg) in NCAA Division I FCS statistics ... NDSU has had seven straight 1,000-yard rushers ... 2008 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 11 games including one start ... Caught one pass for five yards against Youngstown State (9-20-08) ... Part of offensive front that allowed NDSU to rank 17th in rushing offense and 21st in sacks allowed in NCAA Division I FCS ... 2007 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in all 11 games including a pair of starting assignments ...
