2010-11 SEASON
Indoor (Junior): Competed in the pole vault at six meets...Tallied a season-best mark of 15-7 at the Bill Bergan Invitational...Competed at the Summit League Championships, but did not clear the bar.
Outdoor (Junior): Pole vaulted in eight meets...Cleared the 15-foot mark in four of the meets...Notched a season-best height of 15-8 ¼ at the Beach Invitational...Finished seventh at the Summit League Championships with a mark of 15-3.
2009-10 SEASON
Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in the pole vault in six meets and tallied top 10 finishes in every meet...Best finish of the season came at the Cobber Duals where he placed second with a mark of 15-7...Placed fifth at the Summit League Championships after clearing 15-7.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in the javelin and pole vault...Had a season-best throw of 152-6 in the javelin at the Bison Open...Reached a season-best mark of 15-9 in the pole vault at the Duke Invitational...Finished 17th in the javelin at the Summit League Championships with a mark of 136-1...Placed sixth in the pole vault at the league championships after clearing 15-1.
2008-09 SEASON
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in the pole vault in six meets...Cleared a personal best height of 14-9 at the Bison Open.
Outdoor (Freshman): Did not compete in any meets.
2007-08 SEASON: Redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four year letter winner in track in the pole vault for Tri-County (Minn.) High School... Finished fifth in state as a senior and ninth as a junior... Academic all-state as a senior... Also played football and basketball, lettering twice in each sport... All-conference and voted most improved in football as a senior.
PERSONAL:Â Son of Mark and Jan Berg... Majored in turf management with a minor in business administration...Currently a graduate student studying turf science.
