2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Member of the Bison football team, but did not see extensive action...Credited with one tackle against Mississippi Valley State and also played against Robert Morris.

2016 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter for coach Bob Goodvin at Sioux City East...First team all-state defense in 2015...Finished with 49 tackles and three interceptions his senior year...Two-time all-district and all-metro honoree...Also competes in basketball, baseball and track...Hit .395 on the diamond his junior year and was first team all-district and all-metro...Three-time state qualifier in track...Personal record of 10.96 seconds in the 100-meter dash and was a state finalist.

PERSONAL: Majored in criminal justice at NDSU before transferring to Morningside College...Son of Scott and Laura Godfrey of Sioux City, Iowa...Has one older brother, Hayden.
