IN HIS CAREER: Backup guard who has played in 26 career games over his first three seasons after sitting out the 2016 season as a redshirt in the Bison program...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll as a junior in 2019.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman and three-year starter for Trinity under coach John Odermann...Three-time all-conference and all-region pick...Helped lead the Titans to a 6-4 record in 2015 and the school's first playoff berth in six years.

PERSONAL: Majoring in civil engineering...Son of Monte and Susan Kubas of Dickinson, N.D...Younger brother, Jake Kubas, joined the Bison offensive line in 2018...Also has a younger sister, Abbey...Both parents are NDSU graduates...Father played defensive line for the Bison from 1991-94.
