Biography

2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Backup at center who saw action in two games against Butler and Western Illinois.

2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Provided depth on the offensive line...Appeared in three games against Cal Poly, Southern Illinois and Montana State.

2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of West Fargo High School...Three-year letterman and two-year starter for coach Jay Gibson...Team captain as a senior...First team all-state in 2016 with 35 tackles including 3.5 sacks...All-conference first team in 2015 and 2016...Part of two straight conference championship teams that went 18-4 and made two Class 3A state semifinal appearances...Selected to the Badlands Bowl and North Dakota Shrine Bowl...Also competed in track and field...State placewinner in the shot put...Honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Majoring in marketing...Started his own business in May 2020...Son of Tyson Willis and Tina Mougey...Has two sisters, Chloe and Layla Willis, and one brother, Kenny Willis...Father played football at Mayville State.
