2014 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Started 46 of 48 games for the Bison at shortstop ... Hit .256 with 32 hits in 125 at bats ... Scored 19 runs and posted 10 RBI ... Was 4-for-7 in stolen base attempts ... Led the team in defensive assists with 112 ... Had eight multi-hit games ... Went a season-best 3-for-3 at the plate with four RBI against Winnipeg May 10 ... Was 2-for-2 with a run scored against Western Illinois April 19.

2013 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 23 games with 12 starts at shortstop and second base ... Moved into a starting role at shortstop for the final two weeks of the season ... Made only five errors in 88 chances for a .943 fielding percentage ... Threw out a runner at the plate and turned a 6-3 double play in back-to-back innings to preserve a 1-0 lead over Oakland in the first round of the Summit League tournament ... Drove in a run with a safety squeeze bunt in the second round win over Western Illinois.

2012 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the entire season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2011 from Creighton Prep High School in Omaha ... Three-year letterman ... Hit .400 with 10 doubles and four home runs his senior year .... Also participated in basketball.

PERSONAL: Son of Shane and Kristin Hook of Omaha ... Dad played basketball at Nebraska Omaha and mother played at Creighton ... Has an older brother, Alex, who plays basketball at Rockhurst ... Also has a younger sister, Marley, and brother, Tommy ... Majoring in business administration.
