2017 SEASON (SENIOR): Played in 13 of 15 games including 11 starts...Starting sam linebacker for the first six games before missing two games with an injury...Moved to starting will linebacker for the final five contests...Fourth on the team with 54 tackles including 4.0 tackles for loss...Nine of his 10 special teams tackles came on the kickoff team...In four NCAA playoff games, tied for the team lead with 23 tackles including 13 solo stops...Impactful performance in the national championship victory over James Madison with two of his four tackles going for lost yardage plus a third-down pass breakup that led to a missed field goal...Season-high nine tackles in the NCAA quarterfinal win over Wofford, including six solo stops...Also made seven tackles in the regular-season finale at Illinois State to help NDSU clinch the Missouri Valley Football Conference title outright...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2016 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in 13 of 14 games including a pair of starts in the playoffs against San Diego and South Dakota State...Made 17 total tackles...NDSU's co-leading tackler on special teams with nine, all on kickoff duty...Season-high five stops in the second round win over San Diego.

2015 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 15 games including four starts at strong safety...Moved into a backup role at outside linebacker in November...Standout tackler on special teams...Made 11 tackles on kickoff coverage and four on punt team...Totaled 31 tackles and two pass breakups for the season...Career-high 11 tackles including seven solo stops in the home loss to South Dakota...MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll.

2014 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in all 16 games...Led all Bison special teamers with 12 tackles including nine on kickoff coverage...Finished the year with 22 tackles including one tackle for loss against Incarnate Word...Season-high five tackles with three solo stops and one pass breakup at Missouri State...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2013 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at North Dakota State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Second team all-state safety for Timber Creek High School and head coach Jim Buckridge...Selected to all-metro and all-district first team after leading Wolves to 10-3 record and second round of the playoffs...Finished senior year with 109 tackles including 97 solos...Picked off four passes and had eight passes defended.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2017 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice…Undrafted free agent signee of the Baltimore Ravens in 2018...Son of Sherman Board, Orlando, Fla., and Torvia Young, Memphis, Tenn...Has two brothers, Elijah and Joshua...Mother and father ran track at Southeast Missouri State.
