2017 SEASON (SENIOR): Appeared in seven games as the backup quarterback...Completed 11 of 20 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown...Went 6-for-10 passing for 85 yards and a TD in the season-opener against Mississippi Valley State...Left the Robert Morris game after sustaining a shoulder injury on a 17-yard touchdown run...Returned in November and played in four of the final six contests.

2016 SEASON (JUNIOR): Backup quarterback who appeared in four contests...Went 2 of 3 passing for eight yards in the home win over Indiana State...Served as the holder for the PAT/field goal unit with long snapper James Fisher and kicker Cam Pedersen...Earned the Missouri Valley Football Conference Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and a spot on the MVFC Honor Roll.

2015 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in five games as a reserve...Entered the season No. 3 on the depth chart and was No. 2 for eight games after an injury to starter Carson Wentz...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2014 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in five games as the No. 2 quarterback...Went 2 of 5 passing with a pair of completions totaling 25 yards against Incarnate Word.

2013 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-district quarterback for Kearney High School and head coach Greg Jones...Named to KKWK Radio All-Star team as a senior...Named MVP in the 2013 Missouri vs. Kansas High School all-star game leading Missouri to a 36-8 win going 12 of 16 for 177 yards and three TDs...Passed for school record 347 yards vs. Park Hill (9-2-12)...Three-year letterman and two-year starter with 15-7 record including a district and regional championship in 2011...Passed for 1,744 yards, 21 TDs and six interceptions as a senior...Had 3,144 career  passing yards with 34 TDs and seven interceptions...Rushed for eight TDs...All-conference second team pick in 2011...Three-year starter on baseball diamond, earning all-conference honors in 2012 and 2013 and part of a league championship team in 2012...Four-year academic award winner with 3.9 GPA.

PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2017 with a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics...Son of Mark and Christine Davis...Has three brothers, Luke, Zack and Jess...Father went to Nebraska on football scholarship, played baseball for the Huskers from 1982-85, and played professional baseball in Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals organizations from 1985-88.
