IN HIS CAREER: Valuable scout team player who appeared in six regular-season contests, including four his senior year of 2017...Played in the Incarnate Word game in 2014 and against Missouri State in 2015...Redshirted with the Bison in 2013...Four-time MVFC Honor Roll member from 2014 to 2017...Three-time MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award honoree from 2015 to 2017.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2013 graduate of Maple Grove High School...All-conference offensive tackle for the Crimson and head coach Matt Lombardi...Helped lead Maple Grove to 9-1 record and Northwest Suburban Conference championship...Set school single-game records for blocked shots (9), field goals made (15) and field goal shooting (75%), and blocked shots in a season (72) for Maple Grove basketball team...Competed in track and field.
 
PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU In May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and a minor in psychology…Son of Darrell and Kirsten Olson...Has one brother, Peder, walked on with the Bison before transferring to the University of St. Thomas (Minn.)...Father played football for Concordia-Moorhead and was a graduate assistant for the Bison on the 1988 national championship team…Mother competed in cross country and track and field for Luther College.
