Biography

The 2004 Season: Jennie started in 22 of 22 games played ... Hit .278 with no home runs and three RBI ... Scored five runs, smacked three doubles, stole two bases and added a pair of sacrifice bunts ... Made no errors in 145 fielding chances ... Improved career fielding percentage to .998, one error in 471 chances ... Had three multi-hit games last year including a career-high 3-for-4 performance against Southern Connecticut (3-20-04) ... Added a double and single efforts vs. Concordia-St. Paul (4-9-04) and New York Tech (3-14-04) ... Has 10 multi-hit games in career.

The 2003 Season: Jennie started in 37 of 39 games played ... Hit .275 with one home run and 17 RBI ... Scored 16 runs, and collected 10 doubles and a triple ... Had a .997 fielding percentage with one error in 326 fielding chances ... Hit first collegiate home run vs. Augustana (4-13-04) ... Had seven multi-hit games including a pair of two-double performances against St. Cloud State (5-11-03) in the NCAA North Central Regional championship game and vs. Le Moyne, NY (5-17-03) at the NCAA Elite Eight in Salem, OR ... Scored twice and knocked in two runs against Colorado Mines (4-10-03) ... Had career-high 16 putouts against Oklahoma City (3-8-03).

High School: A 2002 graduate of University High School ... A four-year starter, led softball team to state tournament appearances each season ... Also a member of several district, regional and Greater Spokane League titles during her career ... Belted nine home runs during her freshman year ... Her summer softball team, the Spokane Sliders, placed 2nd at the 2000 18-under ASA regional and 26th at the ASA national tourney ... The Sliders finished 5th at the 2001 ASA regionals ... Also played on teams that placed 3rd at the 1997 ASA 14-under Western Area Nationals and 1996 NSA (National Softball Association) Nationals ... Played guard on the University basketball team ... Involved with the Special Olympics, Junior Bloomsday Fun Run and with the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Personal: Daughter of John and Michele Shollenberger ...  Has two sisters, Lauren and Christine ... Strangest nickname is "Swiss" ... Most exciting moment in athletic career was when NDSU won the regional and advanced to the national tournament ... College major is physical education ... High school coaches were John Schuh and Don Owen.
