2025 SEASON (R. SOPHOMORE): Appeared in and started five games on the mound…Tossed 11 strikeouts over 9.2 innings...Posted a season-best five strikeouts over a season-long 3.0 innings against Oral Roberts on May 24.

2024 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Made one start and one appearance on the mound…Logged 1.2 innings with two strikeouts in the season opener at UC Irvine (Feb. 16).

2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Made 16 appearances with 10 starts on the mound…Led the Summit League with a 2.51 ERA…Posted a 3-0 overall record…Tossed 47 strikeouts over 61.0 innings…Ranked second in Summit League play with a  2.06 ERA…Led the Summit League in conference play holding opposing batters to a .187 average…Contributed at least five strikeouts in five games…Tallied a season-best seven strikeouts over 7.0 innings against Oral Roberts (April 23)…Posted his first career complete game and shutout tossing five strikeouts over 7.0 innings in the 10-0 win at Northern Colorado (May 7).

HIGH SCHOOL: Contributed 30 hits and notched a .491 batting average in his senior season at Sioux Valley High School…Also posted a 4-0 record on the mound with 48 strikeouts…Named to the First Team All-State in his junior season and Second Team in his sophomore season…Earned All-Conference honors as a freshman, junior and senior…Also played football, basketball and golf…Set the school record for career passing touchdowns and career passing yards….Earned Academic All-State honors in golf, football and basketball.

PERSONAL: Son of Amy and Ron Puetz…Has two Brothers, Zack and Noah…Zack played baseball at Dakota Wesleyan.
