2008-09 SEASON

Cross Country (Freshman): Competed in six races for the Bison...Posted a season-best 8k time of 26:00.60 at the Jim Drews Invitational (10/18)...Finished 31^st at the Summit League Championships in 26:30.70 (11/3)...Placed 102^nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional in a time of 33:44.85 (11/15).

Indoor  (Freshman): Ran the mile in four meets...Posted a best time of 4:23.00 in a second place finish at the Dakota Duals (1/30)...Also ran the 3,000 meters at the Jack Johnson Classic, finishing 11^th in 8:52.81 (1/23).

Outdoor: Redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track for Central High School...Was the runner-up at the North Dakota state cross country championships...Won the cross country conference title and helped Central capture the team title...Named senior athlete of the year for cross country...Won the indoor state title in the mile and 3,000 meters...Won eight conference titles...Two-time state runner-up in track.

PERSONAL: Son of Debra Parrish...Has one older brother, Chris, and two younger sisters, Amber and Chanda...Planning to major in coaching and teaching...Brother Chris plays football at Bemidji State.
