Cross Country (Freshman): Competed in five meets...Ran an 8K personal best of 27:15.5 at the Midwest Collegiate Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Roseville Area High School...Five-year letterwinner in cross country...Three-time all-conference and all-state performer...Earned academic all-state honors...Led cross country team to the conference title once...Lettered two years in track & field...Earned four all-conference awards...All-state selection...Two-time academic all-state honoree...Holds school records in the 800 meters, the 1600 meters and the 4x800 relay...Also a six-year letterwinner in tennis...Four-time all-conference selection.

PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Mary Holt...Has one older brother, Steve and one younger brother, Jason...Planning to major in biology.
