Indoor (Freshman): Competed in the pole vault in two meets...Notched a season-best mark of 13-5 ¼ at the Bison Open...Did not clear a height at the Bison Classic.
Outdoor (Freshman): Pole vaulted in four meets...Cleared a personal-best height of 13-5 ¼ at the Cobber-Dragon Dual.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Hastings High School...Ranks second all-time in the pole vault at Hastings...Holds the school freshman record in the event...Minnesota state qualifier...Also played defense on the hockey team.
PERSONAL: Son of Dennis and Mary Francis...Majoring in exercise science and athletic training...Has two older brothers, Shawn and Scott...Shawn was a pole vaulter for the NDSU track and field team from 2004-09...Father played hockey and baseball at Iowa.
