Indoor (Sophomore): Ran the 200 and 400 meters...Ran a personal best time of 23.30 in the 200 at the Cobber Open...Clocked in at a personal best 52.41 in the 400 at the Holiday Invitational.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Did not compete in any races.
2009-10 SEASON
Indoor (Freshman): Ran the 400 meters in four meets...Posted a season-best time of 52.55 at the Bison Open...Also ran a personal best of 23.68 in the 200 meters at the Bison Open...Placed 34th with a time of 7.43 in the 60 meters at the Bison Open...Ran the 55 meters in 6.97 at the Cobber Duals.
Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in the 100 meters and the 400 hurdles at the Bison Open...Posted a time of 12.13 in the 100 and 58.03 in the 400 hurdles.
2008-09 SEASON

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Breckenridge High School...All-conference performer in the triple jump and hurdles...Helped team to a second place finish at the Minnesota True Team state championship in 2007...Also played football for three years...Named Heart o' Lakes defensive line MVP...All-conference honoree...Three-year letterwinner in basketball as well.
PERSONAL: Son of Arthur and Carla Swenson...Has one younger brother, Aaron...Grandfather Arthur Swenson played football at Minnesota...Majoring in exercise science with a minor in psychology.
