Cody Roder joined the NDSU track & field staff as a volunteer assistant coach after completing his collegiate career for the Bison in 2022.
 
Roder wrapped up his time with the Bison as the best 400m runner in school history. He advanced to the national quarterfinals in the 400m dash in a personal-best and school record 46.18 in 2022, and he owns the three fastest 400m dash times in NDSU history – 46.18, 46.22, and 46.27.
 
Roder earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 4x400m relay as a senior in 2022, anchoring the Bison to 18th place at the national meet in a school record 3:05.24. He clocked a career-best split of 45.13 at the NCAA Championships.
 
Roder is a native of Bemidji, Minn.
