2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Granted extra year of eligibility from NCAA due to Covid-19...Appeared in 53 games with 40 starts...Hit .268 in 149 at-bats with 40 hits, including 11 doubles and two home runs...Drove in 23 runs while scoring 26...Scored two runs in four different games...Had 11 games with two hits...Had seven games with two RBI...Had two doubles at Dayton (March 16)...Hit home runs against Omaha (April 4) and Nevada (June 5)...Had five putouts against Nevada (June 5)...Had 11 games with multiple hits and seven games with multiple RBI...

2020 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 14 games, including five starts, before season was cut short due to coronavirus pandemic...Had a .259 batting average with seven hits in 27 at-bats...Tallied a .519 slugging percentage and .355 on-base percentage...Had a double and two home runs...Drove in six runs, while scoring four...Had a season-high two hits against St. Bonaventure (March 1) and Northern Colorado (March 7)...Named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll...

2019 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in 22 games with 13 starts ... Compiled a .200 batting average with nine hits in 45 at bats ... Tallied four runs scored, four RBI, two doubles, seven walks and two stolen bases ...  Went 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and two RBI at Sacramento State on Feb. 17 … Named to The Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner and starter at Central High School ... As a senior, hit .357 with 12 doubles, four triples, eight homers and 65 RBI ... Was named the team MVP as a junior ... Was all-state for legion baseball as a senior ... Helped his legion team to three South Dakota State Championships ... Also was a four-year letterwinner in wrestling and placed third at state as a junior and senior. 

PERSONAL: Son of Alan and Carol Solano ... Has three sisters, Jaimie, Rachel and Ashley, and a brother, Parker ... His sister, Ashley, runs track at Augustana in Sioux Falls, S.D. ... Majoring in business administration...
