2006 Season (Freshman): Played a significant role in her first year with the Bison, playing in 20 matches while starting six...Led the team in assists with six while also adding three goals...Registered both her first goal and assist as a Bison in a 6-0 defeat of Minnesota State Mankato on Sept. 3...Scored game-winning goals in back-to-back victories over New Jersey Tech (10/30) and South Carolina State (11/2)... Assisted on both the first and last goal in a 12-0 rout of Howard on Oct. 29...Helped set up the game-winning goal by Lorraine Thompson against IPFW on Oct. 15.

High School: Scored 70 goals in three years of prep soccer at Harrisburg (S.D.) High School... Fifteen-time letterwinner with four coming in volleyball, basketball and track & field and three in soccer... Three-time all-state selection on the pitch... State Cup champions and South Dakota H.S. Tourney runner-up as a junior and a senior... Member of South Dakota’s Olympic Development Program for three years... Played forward/midfielder for Dakota Gold Impact... Won five South Dakota state championships and represented South Dakota in five Midwest Regional tournaments... Helped the volleyball team to a state championship in her final season, named to the all-state tournament team in the process... Honored as the team’s most valuable sprinter as a junior on the track team... Qualified for state all four seasons... Four-year member on the honor roll... Member of the National Honor Society... Selected to the academic all-state team.

Personal: Daughter of Steven and Jackie Dement...Has one sister, Danielle, and one brother, Tony... Majoring in nursing.
