2024 Summit League Academic Honor Roll

2025 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Made 19 relief appearances out of the bullpen…Ranked fourth on the team with 46 strikeouts over 46.2 innings…Registered a 5.40 ERA and limited opponents to a .298 batting average…Appeared for at least 2.0 innings in 14 appearances…Tossed a season-best five strikeouts with one walk over 2.2 innings in the win over Minnesota on April 29...Contributed three strikeouts over a season-long 5.0 innings against Northern Colorado on April 18.

2024 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Started all 14 games he appeared in on the mound…Ranked second on the team with 41 total strikeouts…Positioned second on the team with 59.2 innings…Registered a 7.54 ERA…Earned his first career win with three strikeouts over 5.0 innings at Northern Colorado (April 14)…Fired a season-high nine strikeouts over 6.0 innings in the win over St. Thomas (May 5).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner at MayPort High School…Totaled 168 career strikeouts over 95.2 innings…Registered a 1.79 ERA…Two-time First Team All-Region selection…Named to the First Team All-State in his junior season…Also played football and basketball…Earned All-Region honors in basketball…Was a two-time All-Region selection in football and helped his team a region championship.

PERSONAL: Son of Jennifer and Keith Koenig…Keith played basketball at Fergus Falls Community College…Has three sisters, Madison Storebo, Mackenzie Stein and Mikayla Hankey…Mikayla ran cross country and track at NDSU from 2018-20…Brother-in-law, Jackson Hankey, played football at NDSU from 2017-21.
