HIGH SCHOOL: Five-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Hopkins High School...Won the conference title in the shot put in 2010...Also holds the school record in the shot put...Team won five straight section titles from 2006-10...Hopkins won the Minnesota state title in 2010...Team claimed conference titles in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010...Finished fifth at the Nike Nationals in the shot put and ninth in the discus in 2010...Cross country team won two straight conference titles in 2009 and 2010...Also a two-year letterwinner in Nordic skiing.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Dawn and Jim Kaufmann...Has two older sisters, Kelly and Jenna...Planning to major in pharmacy...Sister Kelly played volleyball at NDSU from 2003-06.
