2008-09 SEASON

Indoor (Freshman): Multi-event athlete...Posted best pole vault mark of the season at the Jack Johnson Classic, clearing 11-0-1/4...Mark is ranked ninth all-time at NDSU...Competed in the pole vault at the Summit League Championships and finished eighth with a mark of 10-11 ¾...Also competed in the pentathlon and finished 11^th with 2,500 points.

Outdoor: Redshirt

High School: Six-year letterwinner in track and field at Bottineau High School...2007 North Dakota state champion in the pole vault...Finished second in the pole vault as a senior...Team captain as a senior...In 2005, led Bottineau to state titles in the 4x200 relay and the 4x400 relay...Helped team to the 2006 state championship...Also played basketball and helped team to three straight state titles from 2006-08...Named to the All-State tournament team in 2007...Named all-district and all-region in 2007 and 2008...Member of the volleyball team, where hse earned all-district and all-region honors in 2006 and 2007.

Personal:  Daughter of David and Phyllis Geiszler...Has one older sister, Lindsey...Cousin Troy Geiszler played basketball at Dickinson State...Planning to major in accounting.
