Shari Davis

Shari Davis, head coach for three seasons at Upper Iowa, is in her second year as an assistant women's volleyball coach at North Dakota State.

Davis had a 36-59 record at Upper Iowa, where she inherited a program that went 4-26 before her arrival and went 16-18 in her second season.  She also served as assistant athletic director and senior woman administrator during her time as head coach.

Davis was a middle blocker for Loyola Chicago on four straight Horizon League championship teams from 1999 to 2002 and was part of back-to-back NCAA tournament teams her first two seasons.  She was named all-conference, all-Midwest Region, team MVP, and was named Loyola's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2002.

Davis was a graduate assistant for volleyball and strength training at Loras College in Iowa for two seasons from 2003 to 2005 before moving to Upper Iowa as an administrative assistant and director of athletic recruiting for one year.

Davis graduated magna cum laude from Loyola in May 2003 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing, and she earned a master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in athletic administration from Loras in May 2006.
