Jason Miller

Jason Miller



Jason Miller is in his 16th year with the North Dakota State University athletic department in 2020-21 and his ninth as the Director of Athletic Performance for Olympic Sports.  He is directly responsible for the training of student-athletes in women's volleyball, men's basketball and baseball.

Miller arrived in November 2005 and spent his first seven years as the assistant and associate director for NDSU's strength and conditioning program.  He designs and implements year-round strength and conditioning programs including instruction of proper techniques and nutritional guidance for student-athletes.

Prior to NDSU, he was the head strength and conditioning coach at Long Beach State from 2002-05 and a graduate assistant at Northern Michigan and the U.S. Olympic Education Center from 2000-02.

Miller graduated from Minot State in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in corporate fitness and earned a master's degree in exercise science from Northern Michigan in 2002.

He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has a certificate from the American Red Cross in first aid and CPR.
