2015-16 SEASON (Senior): Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the third straight season and finished with a 2-2 record including a pair of 3-2 losses ... Had 7-7 record in three NCAA tournament appearances ... Big 12 Conference runner-up at 184 pounds, posting a 2-1 record ... Had 6-1 record in Big 12 and NCAA West Region tournaments ... Compiled a 32-6 record including 10-0 in duals with 10 pins, six tech falls and seven major decisions ... Won 26 straight bouts in dual competition to end career ... Compiled a 36-7 record including 13-0 in duals with eight pins, four tech falls and three major decisions ... Placed third at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a 5-1 record including an 8-3 decision over No. 1-ranked Gabe Dean of Cornell (12-6-14) ... 2012-13 SEASON (Freshman): Went 11-9 overall and 5-4 in dual competition with four pins ... Defeated No. 20 George Ivanov of Boise State (11-16-12) by the score of 8-7 in double-overtime ... Went 5-3 to place eighth at the Midlands Championships (12-29/30-12).Â
2011-12 SEASON (Redshirt): Competed unattached as a redshirt, posting a record of 21-5 with three pins ... Won 16 consecutive matches in a streak dating from Nov. 12, 2011, to Jan. 28, 2012 ... Claimed fifth place at the Bison Open (11-12-11) with a 4-2 record ... Won the Maroon Division at the Finn Grinaker Cobber Open (11-19-11) with a perfect 4-0 mark ... Won the White Division of the Dragon Open (12-3-11), going 4-0 ... Took the title at the Ridgewater Open (1-7-12) with a 3-0 record ... Went 4-1 and earned runner-up honors at the Grand View Open (1-28-12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time Minnesota state champion of Crosby-Ironton High School ... Holds the school's all-time wins record ... Went 43-1 as a senior en route to his third straight state crown ... Won the cadet national triple crown in 2007, winning national titles in folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman ... One of only eight wrestlers to achieve the feat.
