BISON CAREER

2009-10 (Junior): Finished with an overall record of 23-10 and a team-best 12-4 dual mark...Named All-WWC second team after placing second at the West Regional...Came in fourth at the Bison Open and third at the Dragon Open...Had three streaks of three straight dual wins...Defeated Northern Colorado’s Justin Gonzalez in the opening round of the West Regional...Won a 6-2 decision over third-seeded Cole Dallaserra of Wyoming to advance to the final...Dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision to top-seeded Trent Washington of Northern Iowa in the West Regional final.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Went 8-7 overall and 1-1 in dual meets at 149 pounds...Finished fifth at the Bison Open with a 4-2 mark...Competed in two dual meets...Defeated South Dakota State’s Weston Blasius at 157 pounds and lost to Northern Iowa’s Moza Fay at 165 pounds.

2007-08 (Freshman):  Went 15-8 overall and 5-4 in duals at 149...Finished third at the Bison Open and second at the Dragon Open.

2006-07 (Redshirt): Competed in three tournaments as an unattached wrestler, posting a 9-4 record at 149... Runner-up at the Dragon Open and finished third at the Cobber Open.

HIGH SCHOOL

Graduated in 2006 from Fargo North High School... Coached by Ken Tinquist... Four-year starter that won the state championship at 135 pounds and had a 39-5 record his senior year... Had a 40-5 record his junior year and finished second at 130 pounds... Completed his high school career with a record of 113-33... Two-time Eastern Dakota Conference champion... Letterwinner in soccer his junior year.

PERSONAL

Majoring in manufacturing engineering... Son of Yevgeniy Patselov and Karine Pirumova of Fargo... Family includes one brother, Genna.
