2011-12 SEASON (Redshirt)

Competed unattached, compiling a 17-9 record in open tournaments ... recorded four pins on the year ... went 3-3 at the Bison Open on Nov. 12 for sixth place ... claimed a title in the Maroon Division at the Finn Grinaker Cobber Open with a 4-0 record ... third place at the Dragon Open (12/3) and Husky Open (12/10) ... 4-2 at the Grand View Open on Jan. 28 to conclude his season.

HIGH SCHOOL
2011 Minnesota state champion at 189 pounds out of Frazee-Vergas High School...Also finished fourth as a junior...Two-time regional champion...Went 48-1 as a senior, setting the school record for wins in a season...Team leader in takedowns as a junior and senior...Finished career with an overall record of 130-40...Also an all-conference performer in football and basketball.
