Border States congratulates Van Holmgren, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Holmgren, a junior from Plymouth, Minn., currently holds a 3.333 GPA majoring in finance. Holmgren claimed his first title as a Bison at the Crusader Collegiate in Valparaiso, Ind. After a strong first day in which Holmgren earned third place, he claimed victory in the tournament shooting a career-low 66 in the final round. His total score of 207 is the second best 54-hole score in school history.
