Border States congratulates Sam Griesel, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Griesel, a junior from Lincoln, Neb., is majoring in business administration. He is coming off of a Dakota Showcase in which he averaged 16.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3 assists in 3 games while shooting 46% from the field and 80% from the free throw line. On the season, Griesel leads the team in rebounds, assists, and minutes, and is third in points.
