Scheels Arena at the Sanford Athletic Park is a multi-purpose venue in south Fargo that opened in 2008 as the Urban Plains Center and was renamed in 2010 after Scheels All Sports secured the naming rights.

The arena had seating for 4,406 fans as NDSU's temporary home for men's basketball, and select women's basketball games, during construction of the new Sanford Health Athletic Complex and Scheels Center on campus. NDSU played the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons at Scheels Arena.

The main tenant of the arena is the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League. The arena also hosts high school hockey games, and was the site of the 2009 IIHF World U18 hockey championship, the 2011 U.S. Curling Nationals and the 2014 U.S. Olympic Curling Trials.
