NDSU’s all-time winningest coach with a 671-198 record in 29 seasons for a .772 winning percentage...Directed the Bison to five NCAA Division II national championships in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996...National runners-up in 1992...Named head coach for the Division II Women’s Basketball 25th Anniversary Team...Inducted into the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in June 2000 and listed 8th by Sports Illustrated’s "50 Greatest Sports Figures in North Dakota" in January 2000...Recipient of the inaugural C. Vivian Stringer Women’s Coaching Award by the United States Sports Academy in 2002...1993 WBCA Division II Coach of the Year...Had 25 straight winning seasons from 1980 to 2005, twenty 20-win seasons and 18 NCAA playoff berths...Won 10 North Central Conference championships...Her players earned nine All-America awards and four were CoSIDA Academic All-Americans...Inducted in 2004 to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and Purdue Athletics Hall of Fame...Point guard for the Boilermakers and scored the program’s first basket...Resigned from coaching in March 2009 to become an associate athletic director for development at NDSU.
