Bison Athletic Hall of Fame
As one of the most prolific promoters for NDSU in his lifetime, Jackson earned an unique niche in the university’s athletic and academic community. The 1942 NDSU graduate served as president of the NDSU Alumni Association in 1954-55, served as chairman of the NDSU fieldhouse fund drive in 1967, selected as NDSU’s 1966 honored alumnus, was an honorary member of the NDSU Lettermen’s Club, and was the recipient of the 1969 NDSU business alumni award. In 1973, he received an NDSU alumni achievement award, and served three terms as president of the NDSU Team Makers club.
