Highly visible fan and loyal contributor to Bison athletics over the past five decades...Has attended games since 1958 and estimates he has been in attendance for over 1,000 NDSU athletic events...Has attended all 23 Bison Bidder Bowls, with he and his wife co-chairing four of them...Commitment to the program goes above and beyond the call of duty...Former Team Makers president and Hall of Famer Byron Jackson recruited Beling to become involved with the booster organization...As Team Maker secretary/treasurer, he has been doing the books for 37 years and has seen the budget increase from $50,000 to $1.4 million...Practiced as a CPA for 41 years in Fargo...Served one-year terms as president of the North Dakota Society of CPAs and AAFI (Association of Accounting Firms International)...Currently serves on the Fargo Dome Authority and is finance committee chairman...Volunteers at MeritCare Medical Group with the Senior Companions programs and Meals on Wheels...Native of Great Bend, N.D....Graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Ill....Served in the U.S. Army...Member of the Armed Forces’ Task Force 7, which set off a series of hydrogen bombs in 1954...Dale and his wife, Diane, were married for 21 years...They have five children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
