National champion at 158 pounds as a senior in 1998 to help NDSU to the NCAA Division II national championship...Three-time NCAA All-American including eighth place at 150 pounds in 1995 and seventh at 158 pounds in 1997...Won back-to-back North Central Conference championships at 158 pounds in 1997 and 1998...Part of two NCC championship teams in 1994 and 1998...Career record of 85-38 with 15 pins including a 25-14 mark in duals...Led the Bison in dual victories with an 11-1 record in 1998...Went 29-5 with seven pins his senior year...Captain of the 1998 team...Member of NDSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council...Four-time high school state champion and North Dakota’s Mr. Wrestler in 1993 after a 40-0 record his senior year at New Salem High School...Finished his prep career with a 197-9 record including 128 pins...Placed fifth at the 1993 high school national tournament...Employed with Carrington Public Schools since 1999...Has coached 10 state wrestling champions and 80 state placewinners...The Cardinals have made seven Top 4 finishes in the state dual meet tournament...North Dakota Class B Coach of the Year in 2003...Inducted into the North Dakota Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2008...Has one daughter, Kenadie Pazdernik.
