Box Score LARAMIE, Wyo.--Angie Hellbaum and Shelby Heggie each had 10 kills to lead Wyoming to a 30-27, 30-14, 30-25 victory over North Dakota State in women's volleyball Monday, Sept. 27.
Heggie hit .429 in the match, committing just one error in 21 attempts for the Cowgirls (8-5), who limited North Dakota State to a .050 hitting percentage.
Sophomore outside hitter Sheila Parrish recorded a team-high nine kills for North Dakota State (3-12), while Sheri Swanson and Kelly Kaufmann each had seven kills.
Parrish was one kill shy of her fifth double-double of the season. She made 13 digs.
Swanson and setter Emily Luensmann tied for the match high with four block assists each. Luensmann collected 33 assists.
North Dakota State will have a travel day Tuesday before playing host to nationally ranked Division II crosstown rival Minnesota State-Moorhead on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. First serve is at 7 p.m.
