Box Score FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Ben Woodside was perfect from 3-point range and from the free throw line Saturday, scoring 23 points to lead North Dakota State to an 86-56 nonconference men's basketball win over South Dakota State.
Woodside, who had six rebounds, three steals and seven assists, was 8-for-13 from the field and made both of his 3-point attempts and all five of his free throws for the Bison (9-8).
NDSU made 11 of 17 3-point tries. Phil Hahn was 5-for-7 and finished with 17 points. Andre Smith added 12 points and 13 rebounds and Brett Winkelman and Mike Nelson chipped in 10 points each.
SDSU was plagued by poor shooting all game. The Jackrabbits (4-12) shot just 34 percent from the field and made only one of nine 3-point attempts. They shot 29 percent in the first half as NDSU pulled out to a 42-21 lead.
Mohamed Berte scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Matt Cadwell added 13 points and Ben Beran 12.
