Glenn Leads IUPUI Past North Dakota State, 86-74

INDIANAPOLIS?Robert Glenn scored a game-high 33 points to lead IUPUI to an 86-74 victory over North Dakota State in Summit League men's basketball Saturday, Dec. 5, at The Jungle.

Glenn scored seven straight points to break a 65-65 tie and tallied 14 of IUPUI's final 21 points, including 12 straight free throws.  He finished 15-for-16 at the line.

IUPUI (7-2, 2-0) went on an 11-2 run over a two-minute span of the first half to build a 21-13 lead.  The Jaguars led 43-34 at halftime when Alex Young banked in his third 3-pointer at the buzzer.

North Dakota State (3-4, 1-1) erased a 15-point deficit midway through the second half.  Josh Vaughan scored four straight points to cap a 10-0 run that got NDSU within five, 62-57.

The Bison later tied it on a third straight 3-pointer by Mike Felt, who had missed 14 consecutive field goal attempts over the previous three games.  Felt finished with nine points.

Eric Carlson had team highs of 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals for North Dakota State, which shot 50 percent from the floor.

NDSU's Michael Tveidt added 12 points and five rebounds, and Vaughan and Nate Zastrow finished with 11 points and three rebounds each.

Glenn was one of three players in double figures for IUPUI, which shot 45.9 percent from the floor.  Alex Young had 23 points, five rebounds and four steals, and Leroy Nobles scored 12 points.

The Bison had a 34-33 edge in rebounding, led by Carlson's nine and five apiece from Tveidt and Jordan Aaberg, who blocked two shots.

North Dakota State is scheduled to host Dickinson State at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Bison Sports Arena in Fargo.
